Lifesavers could win top awards
BRADFORD lifesavers are being encouraged to come forward for a national awards ceremony.
St John Ambulance is calling for nominations from Yorkshire and the Humber for its Everyday Heroes awards – an annual event celebrating lifesavers.
The first aid charity is asking the public to contact it about people who have saved lives or championed first aid. This year’s finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony at the Lancaster London hotel on July 1.
Nominate on sja.org.uk/everydayheroes by 5pm on Saturday February 28.
