AN APPEAL for more people to help Bradford Street Angels has attracted 20 volunteers.
Last week the Telegraph & Argus reported how for the first time in its six year history, the charity, which helps people stay safe on a Friday or Saturday night out, was struggling for bodies.
Bradford Street Angels chairman Paul Sunderland (pictured) said: “Within 24 hours of the T&A article going out we’d had 14 applications and now we’re in the region of about 20. It’s been absolutely amazing.”
