A BOOK-smart six-year-old Bradford boy has won a selection of books from Bradford Libraries after correctly answering questions in a literary quiz.
Six-year-old Usman Ali Rashid was presented with his prize, as well as a certificate, at an event at Manningham Library.
He won the books, which were provided by the Booktrust charity, by correctly answering questions at a festival held last year.
The Family Learning Festival runs during October each year to promote the benefits of families learning together. It involved a range of events and activities planned in partnership with the Family Learning Service, the National Media Museum, Bradford Libraries, Impressions Gallery and Forsters Bistro.
The partnership also welcomed back Bradford Museums, with work at Cliffe Castle, The National Trust at East Riddlesden Hall and The Children’s University last year.
More than 22,000 visitors took part in the last festival, which had a history theme and involved over 40 events being staged between October 25 and November 2.
