A FUNDRAISER is set to tackle the Sheffield half-marathon in April to raise money for charity work in Uganda.

Graeme Pullan, 52, of Addingham, who was nominated for his fundraising efforts in last year’s Telegraph & Argus Community Stars Awards, will donate any money raised towards building projects in Matugga, one of the main towns in the country’s Wakiso District.

Mr Pullan, who volunteers at Abbeyfield Grove House residential home in Ilkley, has been an avid fundraiser for various charities with his long-distance running since 1983.
