THE Princess Royal is due in Bradford today to visit a host of organisations and companies across the district.
She is set to meet graduates from Project SEARCH at the city's Royal Infirmary, helping to celebrate an employment scheme which has helped give young people with learning disabilities the opportunities to learn the necessary skills and experience to gain future employment.
The Royal party will then head to the Aire Valley, travelling to CMB Engineering for a tour of its facility in Shipley.
The Princess Royal will also give a short presentation to celebrate the firm's receipt of the Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2014.
Acting in her role as president of Carers Trust, she will then visit The Carers’ Resource, also based in Shipley, to see the wide range of services on offer to carers and older people across the district.
The Princess Royal last visited the district in January last year, enjoying tours of Saltaire Brewery and Manor Coating Systems Ltd.
