A MAN who discharged himself from hospital twice within days against medical advice, died from pneumonia after a series of strokes an inquest has heard.
Landscape gardener Roland Moules, 60, of North Dean Avenue, Braithwaite, Keighley, was admitted to hospital for a third and final time after collapsing at home and died at Airedale General on June 26, last year.
He had been experiencing dizziness, sickness and a sense of collapse for weeks.
He also had a complex medical history of high blood pressure and had a pacemaker fitted, the inquest in Bradford was told yesterday and there had been a number of missed GP appointments in the past.
DRecording a verdict that he had died from natural causes, assistant Bradford coroner Mary Burke said CT scans showed he had suffered a strokes and had developed pneumonia.
