A PROBLEM with faulty street lights across Bradford could be linked to a similar problem in nearby Calderdale, a meeting of the full council heard.
Bradford Council has a four-week repairs backlog for street lights after the number of faults started mounting up this winter, with lamps failing earlier than expected.
Councillor Val Slater, executive member for highways, said she had read in the press about Calderdale Council having a similar repairs backlog, and her department was now speaking to colleagues at Calderdale Council to see if there was a common cause.
