MOTORISTS and bus users have been warned that a main road in Keighley is being affected by road works for the next 16 weeks.
The work along a section of Oakworth Road began on Monday.
Bradford Council has said its contractors are strengthening a 30-metre section of retaining wall.
The affected section of wall is located in Oakworth Road between its junctions with Sunny Hill Grove and Wheathead Lane.
During the 16-weeks of the works there will be temporary traffic lights in place.
The council has stressed that pedestrian access to nearby properties will be maintained, and that the work will be managed to minimise impact on traffic.
A spokesman for bus company Transdev has informed passengers that they should expect some delays on its 706 and 717 routes, and to some of its school bus services.
