PARENTS are being urged to involve under fives in the Rhyme Challenge being run at the district’s libraries.
Toddler groups, pre-schools, nurseries and children’s centres are all involved in the challenge which sees parents and children learning five rhymes together.
The aim is for up to 4,000 children in Bradford to take part in the challenge at 11 libraries until April 1.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council’s executive member for culture, said: “We have had some great feedback from parents and we are looking forward to a new set of children taking the challenge.”
Libraries taking part are Bingley, Burley-in-Wharfedale, City, Clayton, Holme Wood, Ilkley, Keighley, Menston, Shipley, Thornton and Wyke.
