SUPPORTERS of a Keep Girlington Tidy Campaign will be making a clean sweep of the area on Tuesday.
Children, staff and parents at St Edmunds Nursery School and Children’s Centre will be out and about litter picking to spruce up their neighbourhood.
The idea came after parents, staff, Masood Gondal, of Bradford Council’s Neighbourhood Support Services and CNet’s Community worker Muppett met to talk about solving the area's litter problem.
The clean up will cover Washington Street, Birch Street and Firethorn Close with residents being invited to join in.
The Council will also be offering support on the day by providing bags, other litter pickers and taking the rubbish away, Council wardens will also be getting involved.
