A COMPOSER and musician is raising money for a cancer charity by donating £2 from each sale of his latest album.
Neil Thomas, 45, is backing Cancer Support Bradford & Airedale because of the help it gave his father Garry who died of lung cancer.
He said: “My father died in 2012 and Bradford Cancer Support were the main people that supported my family, supported my mum. While he was ill, they were very much involved, offering all sorts of support, even financial support and getting through all the pension problems. They were brilliant.”
Devadatta is his fifth album of rock music and thoughtful lyrics, produced at his home studio, Eldwick, Bingley. “It’s more for the love of music. I like the idea somebody will listen to my music and buy it, then realise they made a donation and get a feel-good factor.”
