‘Give blood now’ plea to city donors
BLOOD donors in Bradford are being urged to heed an urgent appeal.
All blood types are needed but particularly O Groups to maintain life-saving supplies, said an NHS Give Blood spokesman.
“Every day hospitals in England and North Wales need around 6,100 blood donations to treat patients in urgent need,” the spokesman said. “It’s vital that we increase our stocks now, so we can continue to meet the needs of patients.
