POLICE have released this image from a bus security camera of a man who tried to grab a 13-year-old girl's skirt.

The incident happened on the top deck of the 618 bus on December 17 when between 3.40pm and 4.10pm the man reached for the girl's clothing. He later got of the bus near Crow Tree Lane in Girlington.

Police have described the suspect as being white, of a chubby build, and aged between 30 and 40. He has ginger hair, balding at the front and on top, brown eyes and at the time was wearing a black leather jacket and black jeans.

Police are looking for the man on suspicion of assault. Anyone who recognises him can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
