A SEASON of art house films, Cinematheque Bradford, screened at Kala Sangam in Bradford, continues next Thursday with Plot For Peace, a documentary edited like a thriller.
The 82-minute film tells the story of the mysterious Monsieur Jacques, an Algerian-born French business figure who became an important international “fixer” in the complex negotiations during the 1980s that eventually led to peace in Southern Africa.
The rest of the programme includes School of Babel on February 5; Algorithms on February 19; Giovanni’s Island on March 5 and Kon-Tiki on March 19.
Screenings, at 7pm, will be introduced and notes will be available.
