A POST-MORTEM examination was due to be held today to establish the cause of a man’s death on a Bradford housing estate. The body of a man, believed to be in his forties, was found on grassland off Bishopdale Holme, Buttershaw, at about 6am on Tuesday.
The conditions were bitterly cold as officers carried out their investigations.
A number of houses in Bishopdale Holme were cordoned off on Tuesday morning as the police probe continued inside a white forensic tent between the properties.
Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, of Bradford District CID, confirmed the post-mortem examination was scheduled today. The dead man’s identity has not yet been released. Initial investigations suggest there are no suspicious circumstances, but police are appealing for any potential witnesses, or anyone with any further information. Call 101.
