A BRADFORD school has hosted an exhibition into the tragic story of Jewish teenager Anne Frank, with several students becoming “ambassadors” for her story.
Organised by the Anne Frank Trust, the exhibition in Carlton Bolling College in Undercliffe saw part of the school turned into a temporary museum of the life of the teenager, who died in the Holocaust.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Mike Gibbons and Bradford East MP David Ward were among guests at the exhibition.
Primary school children also visited and were given the tour by Carlton Bolling’s Anne Frank Ambassadors, who had been trained by the trust to tell her harrowing story.
School spokesman Janet Dunn said: “It has been very moving, and sadly is very relevant today.”
Mr Ward said: “It was a powerful and very moving experience.”
