Arrest after water-check burglaries
AN arrest has been made following two burglaries in Queensbury in which a man gained entry to homes by pretending to be an official of Yorkshire Water.
The incidents took place on Monday on Highgate Close and Ashbourne Crescent. A man purported to be from Yorkshire Water and said needed to check the radiators. Some property was stolen. Police say a man has been arrested in relation to the incidents.
