PEOPLE in Bradford are being urged to put smoke alarm testing at the top of their priority list in 2015.
During the past two years about a quarter of homes involved in fire in West Yorkshire have not had a working smoke alarm, according to West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
Assistant Chief Fire Officer Dave Walton (pictured) said: “There is nothing more important than keeping your loved ones safe. So if your alarm is getting past its best, fit new ones. Don’t simply forget.”
