The Mayfield Centre will host a project just for girls
A WEEKLY social group for teenage girls only has been set up in Bradford.
The Mayfield Girls Project, run by Bradford Council’s youth workers, is held every Wednesday between 6.15pm and 8.45pm.
It is open to girls aged 13 to 19 at the Mayfield Centre, Broadway Avenue, and is 30p per session.
The group’s activities include planning and designing an International Women’s Day event for the community, workshops, stalls, fashion show and arts and crafts.
