TWO occupational therapists are holding a free talk in Bradford city centre about anxiety and how it impacts on daily life.
It will explain approaches for managing anxiety, different ways to promote relaxation and some useful information on how to access help and support.
Real stories of how people in the Bradford district have been helped to get in control of the condition will also be discussed.
Cathy Wright, who is giving the talk with Sara Claxton, from Bradford District Care Trust, said: “Anxiety is very common, and something many of us have encountered within our lives. It can profoundly affect our sense of well-being but it is also something we can learn how to control. By understanding more about anxiety and how it affects us we can learn what to do to overcome it.”
The event takes place on Tuesday, January 27, from 1.30pm until 3pm or 6pm until 7.30pm at The Bradford Hotel, Hall Ings, Bradford.
