TWO men were given warnings for riding an off-road bike near the Buttershaw estate.
On Friday a member of the public called police to report a number of men riding off-road motorcycles down at the bottom of Soaper Lane.
Officers from the Bradford District Anti-Social Bike Team attended and came across three men pushing two motorcycles. They had been riding the bikes down a dirt track and one of the bikes had broken down prior to police arriving.
One of the motor cycles was road registered and insured but the second one was purely for off-road use.
Two of the men admitted riding the off-road bike and were given warnings.
PC Oliver Bentley said: “These men had been riding on a dirt track which cars cannot access due to bollards but the area is not for motorised vehicles of any kind and there are signs clearly visible." These warnings are now recorded and if ignored the males risk having their vehicles seized.”
