TWO people were taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a bus in Bradford city centre yesterday afternoon.
A blue Audi A3 was involved in a collision with a double-deck bus on Simes Street, near the Oastler shopping centre.
Five people in total were injured in the smash, which happened at about 2.40pm.
A 59-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the car, suffered a neck injury which was not believed to be serious.
Four people - two women aged 21 and 64, a man aged 65, and a 12-year-old boy - on the bus received slight injuries, according to West Yorkshire Police.
A spokesman for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said they sent a rapid response vehicle, two ambulances and a clinical supervisor to the scene.
Ambulance staff took two of the injured people to Bradford Royal Infirmary, although the spokesman could not clarify which two. The incident caused disruption to city centre traffic before the scene was cleared.
