SPEN families can learn how to get fit and healthy through a free lifestyle course.
Kirklees Council has joined forces with Kirklees Active Leisure to run Ready Steady Go Juniors, an eight-week programme for families with children aged two to 13 who want to learn about healthy lifestyles.
The programme, which aims to improve diet and fitness for the whole family, is at three different venues.
These include at Spenborough Pool and Fitness Complex, Liversedge, which will be sessions for children aged four to seven and their parents on Tuesdays, 4pm to 6pm from January 27.
Families attending the sessions will learn about healthy portion sizes, and the effect foods have. Food taster sessions, fun physical activities and games will also be held.
