PUPILS will tomorrow help make a ten metre scroll to show Bradford’s support for the community of Peshawar in Pakistan where 132 children were killed by gunmen last month.
Organiser Arshad Ali will invite councillors to sign the document which will also carry the hand-prints, poems and messages of support of some of the city’s children. Atlas Community Primary School pupils will be making their contribution today.
The hope is the gesture will send out a clear message that Bradford is against terrorism. The scroll will be taken to Peshawar later.
