THE BODY of a man has been found on grassland in Bradford.
A police forensic tent has been set up at the scene just off Bishopdale Holme, Buttershaw, after the discovery just before 6am this morning.
Police said the man was believed to be aged in his 40s.
Initial investigations suggest there are no suspicious circumstances.
Detective Superintendent Nick Wallen, of Protective Services (Homicide and Major Enquiry Team), said:
"At just before 6am today, police were called to Bishopdale Holme, Bradford, following the discovery of a body.
"Officers attended and found the body of a man, believed to be in his 40s.
"His death is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
"Our enquiries are continuing into this incident and anyone with information is asked to call 101."
