A RESEARCH body designed to improve health and wellbeing across Yorkshire and the Humber has celebrated its first anniversary.
The National Institute for Health Research Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care Yorkshire and Humber, has brought £11.2million of funding to the region in its first year, including £5 million in the form of a grant to its Healthy Children, Healthy Families scheme, based in Bradford.
The team is currently working on projects such as the impact of mental health on physical health.
