A NATIONAL campaign to encourage smokers to quit is being supported by North Yorkshire County Council.
New You NHS Smokefree service’s North Yorkshire team of specialist stop smoking advisors are ready to support smokers who want to quit.
The team offers a range of weekly one-to-one and drop-in sessions across the North Yorkshire district, including Skipton.
There is also a dedicated service for parents-to-be, New u 4 baby. To find out more, phone 0300 303 1603, Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
