PLANS have been unveiled for nearly 30 homes on a Keighley greenfield site.
The outline application for a residential development in Parkwood Rise has been submitted to Bradford Council and has already drawn fire from a Keighley group.
The proposals have been put forward by Chatsworth Settlement Trustees (CST), which owns and manages land on behalf of the Cavendish family.
Its application shows how the 100 metre by 68 metre site could potentially be used to accommodate 28 homes grouped around a single access road which would connect to Parkwood Rise.
Architects Chris O’Neill, behalf of CST, said the land earmarked for development was greenfield, but was currently “unkempt”.
However, campaign group Bandag called for “more trees on this highly visible hillside”, saying it would extend Park Wood.
