A BINGLEY man got on his bike to raise more than £7,200 for a cancer charity.
Colin Slingsby (pictured left), 40, completed the 127-mile route alongside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Care.
He handed over the cash to the Macmillan Hospice in Bradford on Tuesday.
It is not Mr Slingsby’s first fundraising feat. Two years ago he raised £8,800 for Sue Ryder with a sponsored swim.
Mr Slingsby, who works as a engineer maintenance team manager at Freemans Grattan Holdings, said: “I loved doing it.”
