Drivers have been warned to expect gale-force winds across Yorkshire from tonight until tomorrow morning.
The Highways Agency has urged drivers of high-sided vehicles, those towing caravans and motorcyclists to also avoid using exposed routes, including the section of the M62 between Huddersfield and Brighouse.
High winds, including westerly cross winds, are forecast between 11pm today and noon tomorrow. Wind speeds of between 60mph and 70mph are possible.
Gale-force winds are also possible tomorrow night and into Saturday.
