A KEIGHLEY man who died from an epileptic seizure at the age of just 27 has been praised for his determination to get on with life despite the severity of his illness.
Andrew Brown, known as Browny, died at his home in Parkwood. He was born with epilepsy but the condition had remained dormant until he was 17.
His mother, Janet Hooley, who now lives in Farnhill, said: “We thought he’d got over it, but it came back with a vengeance. He found it frustrating at times, but he didn’t complain much, he just got on with things.
“He coped fairly well and said it was just something he had to live with.”
Mr Brown was educated at St Anne’s Primary School and Holy Family Catholic School.
