A FRESH initiative to promote and enhance local life will be launched at a community fair in Baildon later this month.
Baildon Town Council is hosting the free event on Saturday, January 24 from 10am at the Methodist Centre, Newton Way.
Chairman Joe Ashton said: "It's an opportunity for people to find out all the services that are available and what's going on where they live and we will be launching a new campaign call Building a Better Baildon to try and get as many people as possible involved in local projects."
Cllr Ashton (pictured) said it was an event for those in need of help to find out more, but was also aimed at people who wanted to offer support.
"We already have four groups confirmed for the fair and they are Shipley and Bingley Voluntary Services, Hale health project, Bradford Council's Be Neighbourly campaign and Baildon's Dementia Friendly group.
"But we want uniformed youth organisations, churches and groups of every type to take part," Cllr Ashton said.
