COURSES are being served up in Keighley to help people learn about healthy meals.
The Cook and Eat sessions – which have been set up by Bradford Council – will cover different dishes, understanding ingredients and controlling portion sizes.
Participants will be supported to make healthy lifestyle changes.
The courses will be run over six weeks.
Two-hour sessions will include some for women only, children and parents, and adults with mental health issues.
Alison Moore, the council’s senior public health manager, said: “Many people want to change the way they eat to be healthier, but don’t know how to prepare healthy meals.
“By giving people confidence in the kitchen, they can take control of their own and their family’s meals.”
