A CAB driver ended up suspended from duty after arguing with officers when he was caught causing an obstruction to road users.

The private hire driver got into trouble over negotiating a red light cycle ‘box’ at the Lingstone Road/Wrose Road junction in Oak Lane, Manningham, and denied committing an offence.

He was also in breach of Private Hire rules, and will be interviewed with Bradford Council’s enforcement officers. Bradford Police said: “The taxi driver’s behaviour left us with no choice but to suspend him to prevent further issues.”
