A MAN has appeared in court for driving while disqualified and given 140 hours community service for the offence.
He was caught by police from Bradford’s anti social behaviour motorbike team in November who found him in Norman Lane, Bradford, following a tip off from the public that he was still driving after being disqualified.
In addition to the community service, he was disqualified from driving for 18 months and give a two months curfew, which will be electronically monitored. He is also subject to a 12 months community order and ordered to pay £145 in costs and victim surcharge.
He had been charged with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance and appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court. A police spokesman said: “West Yorkshire police will act on information given to us.”
