THREE men caught with trials motorbikes in Esholt Woods have been issued with warnings by police, meaning the bikes can be seized if caught being misused again.
Esholt Woods is owned by Yorkshire Water and is open to pedestrians and cyclists but signs warn that motorised vehicles are not allowed.
The riders had taken their machines to the woods in a van and were using correct safety equipment, telling officers they were unaware of the restrictions.
West Yorkshire Police issued the warnings and say the area is popular with dog walkers and families.
