MEMBERS of a Pudsey family business have been thanked for their £2,500 donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care in memory of a relative.
The donation was made just before Christmas by Simon, James and Wendy Beverley, of Farmac Timber and Building Supplies, in memory of their father and husband, Keith Beverley, who passed away in December 2013.
The contribution, to Marie Curie Bradford, was in lieu of Christmas bottles for customers and a personal family donation.
James Beverley said: “Marie Curie played a huge part in caring for dad and provided much-needed support for the family.”
Marie Curie, which provided care for more than 400 people in the area last year, has written to the firm to thank them for the donation.
