OFFICERS from British Transport Police are still appealing for two women who were reportedly assaulted on board a train to come forward.
The incident took place at around 6pm on Saturday, December 13, as the Manchester Victoria to Leeds service, which stops at Bradford Interchange, was approaching Todmorden station.
A man on board became aggressive and assaulted three women. The man, a 26-year-old from Halifax, has since been arrested, interviewed and bailed.
PC Gary Reader, of BTP, said: “One of the victims came forward and gave her details and a statement at the time of the incident. We believe that at least two other women may have also been assaulted and we would be really keen to speak to them and give them some support.”
