POLICE have arrested a 16-year-old boy, of Girlington, Bradford, after issuing an e-fit of a suspect they wanted to speak to following an assault in Bradford.
The incident happened at 7.30pm on Boxing Day when a 50-year-old man walking near shops in Toller Lane, Heaton, became involved in a row with an Asian male.
The suspect struck the man in the face, causing him to suffer a fractured eye socket and bruising. He then ran off towards Duckworth Lane.
Detective Inspector Alan Flynn, of Bradford District CID, said it was understood a weapon might have been used in the attack because of the severity of the man’s injuries.
After questioning, The boy was released on bail pending further inquiries.
