PART of the Bingley by-pass remains closed after a car crashed during this morning's rush hour.

The Seat Toledo, driven by a 45-year-old woman with a 12-year-old passenger in it, crashed into a central reservation barrier in Sir Fred Hoyle Way, at 8.53am.

The road was partially closed at 9.14am.

Traffic at the stretch was still down to a single lane at just before 10am.

No-one suffered any injuries in the incident and no other cars were involved.

The barrier was partially bent by the impact of the crash.
