A 43-YEAR-OLD woman was more than twice the drink drive limit when she crashed her car into a stone wall, Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court heard today.
Joanne Mellors, of Meadowcroft Rise, Bierley, Bradford, pleaded guilty to driving on Mill Carr Hill Road, Oakenshaw, on December 6 with 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Her solicitor advocate, Alistair Bateman, said she worked at a pub and always took a taxi home.
That night, two taxis were called for her but each was taken by other people.
She decided to drive the short distance home and lost control of her car.
She had no previous convictions and no one was hurt in the crash.
Magistrates ordered Mellors to pay a fine and costs totalling £316 and banned her from driving for 22 months.
