POLICE traced this nuisance quad bike after its rider left tell tale tracks in the snow.
Officers were called to West Bowling due to a report of quads racing around a grassed area outside people's homes.
One of the quads was quickly located from the tracks in the snow.
The rider, who told officers he had bought it for his son, was issued with a section 59 warning, which gives police the power to seize the machine if it is found being misused in the next year.
The rider of another quad is still to be spoken to.
A police spokesman said: "We know where the other quad is due to leaving tracks in the snow, however the rider did not want to, or was not able to, answer the door to police."
