POLICE are still appealing for witnesses after a teenager was robbed of his jacket and sports bag in the Bradford Moor area of the city.
It happened at the junction of Cobden Street and Gladstone Street on Monday, December 15, as the 13-year-old victim was walking alone. He was pushed to the ground from behind and assaulted.
During the assault between 9.20pm and 9.40pm, the teenager's light blue VAN’s hooded jacket was stolen from him, along with a small sports bag. The suspects ran away along Cobden Street.
He has told detectives he remembers hearing two male voices while on the ground but only got sight of one of them who is described as a dark skinned male, wearing a dark blue jacket.
Detective Constable Adrian Lilley, of Bradford CID, said: "This was an unprovoked attack on a young boy which left him very shaken and with minor injuries. We are keen to trace the people responsible and would like to hear from any members of the public who are able to help with our inquiries."
Anyone with information or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, should contact Bradford CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
