BRONTE Country is among locations being promoted by Yorkshire Water as it encourages people to take a New Year stroll at its reservoirs and nature reserves.
A spokesman for the Bradford-based company said: “The Pennine Moors near Haworth were an inspiration for the Bronte sisters Charlotte, Emily and Anne.
“The paths and tracks in this area provide views up to the ruins of Top Withens, the farmhouse connected to Emily’s novel Wuthering Heights.”
