A GROUP which supports those with vision problems in Bradford has been awarded a £500 grant.
Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust has made the award to Bradford Association of Visually Impaired People (Bavip).
Kelly Coulson, chairman of Bavip said: “We are tremendously grateful to Sovereign for the grant.”
Jo Habib, Charitable Trust Co-ordinator at Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust added: “We know there are many small voluntary and community groups in Bradford working hard to improve the lives of people who are disadvantaged and that sometimes a relatively modest grant can make a real difference to the people they help.
“We’re delighted to be able to support BAVIP’s work.”
BAVIP is a small voluntary organisation run by visually impaired people for the approximately 5,000 people.
