BRADFORD Council is supporting Bradford Moor play and support services (Pass) to set up a new homework club in Bradford Moor.
The voluntary group approached the Council’s neighbourhood service to discuss the idea of providing a number of services from the youth service building.
Pass will now pilot a homework club, starting in January, with Carlton Bolling College, using Laisterdyke Centre.
It will meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 4pm until 8pm and on Saturdays from 2pm until 6pm. The aim of the homework club is to help more pupils achieve A to C grades in maths and English.
The project will be reviewed at the end of the three-month trial.
