POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a two-car smash closed a road near Addingham on Boxing Day.
It happened shortly before 5pm on the A65 and involved a black BMW and a black Volkswagen Jetta.
The road had to be shut while emergency services dealt with the incident. A man from one of the cars was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with injuries which were not thought to be life threatening.
Another person was given treatment for shock at the scene.
A fire crew from Keighley was called to help as were two ambulances and a number of rapid response vehicles.
Anyone with information about the crash can call the non-emergency number on 101.
