POLICE in Bradford city centre have tweeted there was zero crime on Boxing Day.
Despite a hefty footfall of shoppers heading into the city centre for the sales, not one crime was recorded – according to the Inner City Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Credit was given to store staff, security staff, city officers and nightclub security who all played their part in preventing crime, said a NPT spokesman, who added: “What a result, especially with how many people visited Bradford for the Boxing Day sales.”
