A PROMINENT empty shop in Shipley town centre could be turned into a takeaway under new plans submitted to Bradford Council.
London and Associated Properties have applied to Bradford Council to make alterations to 5 Kirkgate – which is on the corner of the town’s indoor market building.
The unit is a former mobility aid shop.
The application is for alterations to the shop front of the long empty unit, and for a change of use to a takeaway if successfully let out.
The application will be decided in February.
