A STOP rough sleeping in Bradford campaign is running strong as temperatures plummet in the city.
Bradford Cyrenians is raising funds to give shelter to men who need a fresh start and to get off the streets. The group is hoping to raise awareness as well as money for its Re-Start Project by looking for donations and sponsorship.
They have been selling wristbands and ribbons. Donations to Bradford Cyrenians are greatly appreciated; money, non-perishable foodstuffs, underwear or toiletries. Anyone interested in getting involved or donating to the cause should call Ean Monk or Nikasha Khan on 01274 481039.
The Cyrenians is a voluntary agency, working with homeless men since 1972. Its Re-Start Project which began in 2009 provides housing to men previously sleeping rough, offering flats with a high level of support.
